GPURisers.com has partnered with TheVeteranMiner to bring to market hand made 8-pin to 6+2 pin cables. These cables feature top quality on every part of the cord and are 2.5 feet (30 inches) long. This will allow you to have the proper length for any kind of mining rig build you can imagine. These cables are for standard 8-pin connections on a power supply. Additionally, please make sure your power supply follows the standard 8-Pin as some companies such as Corsair do not allow for custom cables. EVGA power supplies are a favorite here at the GPU Risers mining bunker and we use these cables from our EVGA power supplies right to our 18 AWG splitter cables giving us a total cable length of over 3 feet. When having long cable lengths carrying continuous wattage to graphics cards, it is important to have thick gauge wires.
Cables included with PSU’s are rated for 255 watts per 8-pin connection. TheVeteranMiner cables can handle up to 300 watts which allows for you to have a peace of mind while running your mining rig.
